Clarion Events MD Kent Allen has split from the company, in a second high-level bombshell to rock the UK exhibitions industry.
The news follows the announcement Alastair Gornall’s departure from Reed Exhibitions UK.
Clarion, one of the world’s leading producers of defence and security exhibitions, including DSEI (pictured), ITEC and Undersea Defence Technology, confirmed Allen’s departure to EN, but was unwilling to provide further detail at this stage.
It was reported that Clarion cancelled its inaugural Garden Expo 2010 just 87 days ahead of the show, due to a lack of industry interest.
